Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of IQ Crawl (the "Service"), a competitor intelligence and reporting platform. The Service is provided by SocialApp ("SocialApp", "we", "us"), the seller of the Service. By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
IQ Crawl analyses publicly available information about businesses you nominate and produces AI-generated competitor reports, comparison matrices, execution playbooks, content ideas and SEO blueprints. Reports are generated automatically and delivered in the app and as PDF exports, subject to the credit allowance of your plan.
2. Eligibility and account
- You must be of legal age to enter into a contract, and if you use the Service on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind it.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of applicable law or third-party rights;
- use the Service for fraud, spam, harassment, or misleading commercial practices;
- infringe intellectual property rights, including by submitting content you have no right to submit;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including malware, probing, scanning, penetration testing, denial-of-service attempts, or scraping of the Service itself;
- reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits, credit allowances, or plan restrictions.
4. AI-generated output and accuracy
Reports are produced with automated systems and large language models. Output may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate, and it is not professional, legal, financial, or investment advice. You are responsible for the inputs you provide, for reviewing and verifying output before relying on it, and for how you use it. We may filter, restrict, or refuse output that appears to breach these Terms, and we may remove content or suspend accounts in response to legitimate rights-holder complaints. Repeated infringement will result in termination.
5. Licence and intellectual property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your selected plan. SocialApp retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, models, documentation, and branding. You retain rights in the content you submit, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. Reports you generate may be used for your own business purposes, including under your own branding where your plan permits white labelling.
6. Service level
We aim to keep the Service available and performing well, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation. Processing times for analyses vary with the size of the job and the availability of third-party data sources. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Payment, subscriptions, and taxes
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our payment provider and are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
8. Reseller / Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; previously generated reports may become unavailable, so export anything you wish to keep before your access ends.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from the content you submit, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or applicable law. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. General
You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SocialApp is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms: contact SocialApp through the support channel in your account. Billing, invoice, and refund enquiries are handled by Paddle at paddle.net.
